2026 POWER Act Webinar
The POWER Act aims to shine a light on the problem of domestic violence in each of our communities and to highlight opportunities to provide pro bono legal services to domestic violence victims in a myriad of ways: protection from their abuser, access to benefits, assertion of their child custody rights, and many more. This year’s POWER Act program will feature a dynamic panel of lawyers and service providers who will address the challenges and opportunities facing survivors of domestic violence as they navigate the legal system, including access to protective orders, coordination between courts and law enforcement, and the role that private practice lawyers can play in safeguarding victims’ rights.
